Reproductive & Menopause Reflexology in Hereford & Tenbury Wells

What is Reproductive Reflexology?

Reproductive Reflexology is a specialist approach to reflexology that focuses on reproductive health and wellbeing, offering support through the different stages of a woman's life, from the menstrual years through to perimenopause and menopause.

Using specialist techniques and protocols developed by Barbara Scott, founder of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR), reproductive reflexology can offer support for women experiencing menstrual and reproductive health concerns, including painful, heavy or irregular periods, PMS, PCOS and endometriosis. Treatments are tailored to your individual cycle, symptoms and circumstances, with specialist protocols adapted to different stages of the menstrual cycle where appropriate.

Living with ongoing menstrual or reproductive symptoms can affect far more than your physical comfort. Reflexology offers a supportive approach alongside your usual healthcare, with a focus on relaxation, wellbeing, and helping you feel more comfortable and supported throughout the cycle.

Reflexology Through Perimenopause & Menopause

Understanding Perimenopause & Menopause

Perimenopause is the natural transition toward menopause, when hormone levels begin to fluctuate, and menstrual cycles may become less predictable. For some women, the changes are gradual and barely noticeable, while for others they can affect everyday life in ways they hadn't expected.

Menopause is reached when you've gone 12 consecutive months without a period, assuming you're not using hormonal treatments that affect bleeding. But the experience doesn't necessarily end there. Symptoms can continue into postmenopause, and every woman's experience is different.

This stage of life can bring physical and emotional changes, and sometimes it can be difficult to recognise what's happening or why you're feeling differently. Understanding these changes is an important first step towards finding the support that's right for you.

When You Don't Quite Feel Like Yourself

One of the most unsettling things about perimenopause can be feeling that you're no longer quite yourself. Perhaps you're waking in the early hours, feeling anxious for no obvious reason, becoming more irritable, or finding that things you once took in your stride suddenly feel overwhelming.

You might be experiencing brain fog, fatigue, hot flushes, changes in your skin or body, or simply a sense that something isn't quite right. And because hormonal changes can begin long before periods stop, it isn't always obvious what's behind these feelings.

Every woman's experience is different. Some sail through this transition with few difficulties, while others find it affects their confidence, relationships, work and everyday wellbeing. Whatever your experience, you deserve to feel heard, understood and supported.

How Can Reflexology Support You?

Reproductive reflexology offers a specialist, individually tailored approach to supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. Using techniques adapted to your individual needs, treatments can focus on the concerns that matter most to you, whether that's hot flushes, disrupted sleep, anxiety, changes in mood or fatigue. Alongside the deeply relaxing nature of reflexology, my aim is to support your comfort, wellbeing and quality of life throughout this transition.
